Spirited Away 2

‘It has been 5 years since I went to the spirit world. Sometimes I think it was just a dream. But it wasn’t; I still have my hair band that granny and my friends made.’

‘When we arrived at the new house, all our furniture was there but no movers. Mum and Dad were very confused when they looked at the date on the newspaper saying it was 3yrs past what they thought was the date.’

‘We settled in ok, a new school, a new life and new people. But I miss Haku. Hehe. I guess it’s Gohaku River now, but I think I’ll just stick with Haku.’

‘I have some new friends now, Shinsei, Nami, Tai, Sestu, Tetsu and Yusuke. They are all really nice to me and listened to my stories of the spirit world without laughing and thinking it was stupid. They thought it was fascinating to hear about how I found the bicycle in the side of the water spirit and how I accidentally let in a monster, which ate 3 people, in to the bath house.’

‘I am still waiting for Haku. I am nearly 18 and I have been waiting to see him again like he promised. I miss him.

Chihiro


Chihiro was nearly 18 and she had been waiting 5 years to see Haku again, just like he promised.

Chihiro walked into school one day looking very sad. “What’s wrong Chi?” Shinsei said as she bounced up beside her. Chihiro looked at her red headed friend and shook her head.
“Nothing it’s just….”
“Just??..??” Shinsei Coaxed.
“It’s been exactly 5 years since I was in the spirit world and….” Chihiro bit her lip so she wouldn’t start to cry. Shinsei stared up at her friend with a sad expression.
“You really did love him didn’t you?” Shinsei wrapped an arm around Chihiro as she broke out into sobs.
“5 years…..why…so long” was all the red head could make out in between sobs.
“There, there Chi.” Shinsei comforted “Haku will come to you I can feel it.” Chihiro looked up at her friend.
“You think so Shi?” Shinsei nodded
“I know so!”. The bell rang. Chihiro straightened up, wiped her eyes and headed of the class after a quick thank you and good bye to her friend and went off the home room.
